Christmas in Lytham is always very magical, every year we collectively strive to provide something really special and memory-making.

This year Lytham Businesses are hosting a Festive Bear Hunt & Colouring Competition running throughout December and into the New Year. Spot Clifton Bear & Snowman Stan about town too! Our activities are aimed at encouraging visitor footfall into our cafes, shops and restaurants and to remind locals of the fabulous offer already here in Lytham, whilst providing something free and fun for families to get involved with.

Look out for Clifton Bear and his friend Snowman Stan (the notorious skateboarder) as they “hide” in plain sight in windows. They are even doing their own Christmas shopping and other errands on the way.

There is also a colouring competition, with Clifton Bear and Snowman Stan on the reverse of the trail sheets. Just spot at least 10 of the characters and name the premises where you found them to take part. You can hand in your trail sheet and colouring entry in at either Stringers or Bond & Bloom by January 7 January 2023.

Lytham Festive Trail with Skateboarding Stan

Stan is hoping to skateboard all around town before reaching the skatepark at Park View. Clifton Bear’s friend is inspired by the Live Like Ralph charity, set up in memory of the talented artist and skateboarding legend Ralph Roberts.

The Bear Hunt colouring competition will be judged by Jess Winter, the local artist  who has created the characters for Lytham Business Partnership, and also by Neil and Fiona Roberts, Ralph’s parents.
